Dr. Osman Can was born in Adana. He graduated from Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2014 and completed his Urology residency at University of Health Sciences, Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital between 2015 and 2020. Since 2020, he has been working as a Urology Specialist at Başakşehir Cam and Sakura City Hospital. In 2024, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of Urology.
He received advanced training in robotic surgery and laparoscopy at Heidelberg University, Heilbronn SLK Klinikum (Germany), and further training in robotic surgery at ORSI Academy and OLV Hospital (Belgium).
His main clinical and research interests include urologic oncology, endourology, and minimally invasive & robotic surgery. Dr. Can has authored peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and congress abstracts in national and international journals. He has also been invited as a speaker and trainer at several national and international urology congresses and workshops.
Dr. Can holds the Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU) certification. He is also an active member of the Turkish Association of Urology and the European Association of Urology.
