He was born in 1971 in the Fatih district of Istanbul. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education in Istanbul, he began his medical education at Trakya University in 1993 and graduated in 2000, earning the title of Medical Doctor.
Between 2001 and 2005, he worked as a general practitioner in various health centers and completed his military service during this period. He completed his residency in Psychiatry at Bakırköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Training and Research Hospital between 2005 and 2010. In 2010, he began working as a specialist in Psychiatry at the same hospital, where he also served as Chief Assistant between 2013 and 2018. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2018 and, in 2020, started working as a faculty member in the associate professor position at the University of Health Sciences, Bakırköy Prof. Dr. Mazhar Osman Mental Health and Neurological Diseases Training and Research Center. In 2024, he was appointed to the professor position at the same institution. On April 17, 2024, he was appointed as the Chief Physician of Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital's Mental Health and Diseases Hospital. He is married and has two children.
