Within the scope of the Turkish Healthcare Quality System, the “REGULATION ON THE DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF QUALITY IN HEALTHCARE” has been published with the aim of regulating healthcare quality standards based on patient safety, employee safety, patient satisfaction, and employee satisfaction to ensure the provision of quality services in healthcare institutions and organizations, as well as the procedures and principles for the implementation of these standards. " has been published. The work carried out at our institution to develop and evaluate quality is conducted in accordance with this regulation.

At our hospital, where the coordinating chief physician's office is located, a quality management directorate has been established within the coordinating chief physician's office to coordinate the quality management units affiliated with each chief physician's office. In addition, a quality management unit has been established in each affiliated hospital by assigning personnel according to the number of beds, and a quality management officer has been designated for each quality management unit.

The Quality Directorate and Quality Management Units carry out their work to monitor, evaluate, and coordinate the quality activities carried out within the scope of the SKS in our institution.

Working in coordination, the Quality Directorate and Quality Management Units:

Make arrangements at our hospital within the framework of healthcare quality standards under the Healthcare Quality System.

Conduct self-assessments in line with the SKS.

It records the self-assessment results and data on quality indicators in health within its area of responsibility in the electronic system established by the Ministry according to the announced schedule.

It carries out the improvement activities deemed necessary based on the assessment results.
